40TH DISTRICT LEGISLATIVE BOND INITIATIVE
About:
A Legislative Bond Initiative (LBI) is a request for funding to support specific local or non-state owned capital projects. These projects include various cultural, historic, health, educational, and economic development projects not funded by other state capital grant and loan projects.
2025 Information Session:
Do you have a project that will benefit a community in the 40th District that could use some state funding? If so, don’t miss out on the annual 40th District Legislative Bond Initiative (commonly known as Bond Bills) Information Session. Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 6:30 pm.
At this session, we will discuss the Legislative Bond Initiative program, the application process and answer any questions you have.

Deadline:
Applications for initial review must be received by close of business on Monday, November 18, 2024.

How to Apply:
Step 1: Click here to review the guidelines and eligibility requirements.
Step 2: Click here to download the application.
Step 3: If you are a new applicant, obtain a letter of support from the local community association for which the property is located. A list of community association contacts can be found on the Baltimore City Department of Planning website at http://cityservices.baltimorecity.gov/cad/.
Step 4: Upload application, letter of support (if new applicant) and supporting documents (presentation) here by 11/18/24.
Step 5: Present your project to the 40th Delegation, stakeholders and community members on November 25, 2024 at the 40th District Annual LBI Presentations Meeting.
